WELCOME BACK: BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS MAN IS FINALLY BACK

With JoJo Tillery’s season-ending injury, the Birmingham Stallions have re-signed T.J. Carter. Carter had already spent time with the team and won the championship with them in 2023.

T.J. Carter had an influence on the secondary level in 2023. He recorded 31 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble. He was mostly a depth component, not starting any games, but demonstrating his usefulness to the squad throughout the season.

According to PFF, T.J. posted a 60.1 Defensive Grade.

Carter had a successful college career at Memphis, recording 249 tackles, a sack, and eight interceptions. This sparked some NFL attention, and he was eventually signed by the Los Angeles Rams. T.J. appeared in a few games during the 2022 season, recording one tackle.

Carter is back in Birmingham. The Stallions are undefeated, and it makes sense for General Manager Zach Potter to reintroduce a player into a familiar system, as T.J. worked with John Chavis last year.

This week, the Birmingham Stallions will host the St. Louis Battlehawks in what many see as a preview of the UFL Championship. What are your opinions on T.J. Carter’s re-signing with Birmingham Stallions? Let us know in the comments or on Discord!
