After the Warriors victory, Jamal Murray made a strong statement about Warriors  key man.

Timberwolves fans reminded of what could have been with Jamal Murray

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors was mentioned by Denver Nuggets standout Jamal Murray.

Steph Curry had a bad shooting night on Sunday, but the Denver Nuggets still prevailed over the Golden State Warriors. Due to his poor shooting, Curry was unable to provide much offensive production, which put the Warriors in a difficult situation when facing Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

Despite Curry’s difficulties, Murray was quite complimentary of the Warriors star following this game, stating, “My dad told me I could be just like Steph when he was [young] in my hometown. I used to watch Steph.” I want to transmit that energy to him every time I see him. He brings out the best in you, however I know it’s not just him. He extracts it from you.”

Murray is renowned for his capacity to rise to the occasion, and he looks forward to occasions such as those when he faces Curry and the Warriors. Murray epitomises the philosophy that Curry, the best point guard of this age and possibly the greatest of all time, will always get the best shot from his opponent.

Murray’s action is undoubtedly a show of respect, but it’s also a bold declaration from the Nuggets guard. When asked why he had success against the Warriors, Murray answered candidly and said that Curry brings out the best in him each time they play.
