UPDATED: Two Sacramento Kings players injury status revealed

Gameday update: Kings at Pelicans (11/22/2023) | NBA.com

On Sunday night, the Sacramento Kings will travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers in a game that might go to the playoffs. The Kings will be going on their 11th road trip in the last 14 games as they attempt to extend their winning streak to three games.

Sacramento has already fallen short in both of their meetings with the Clippers this season, and none of those losses was very close. This time, the Kings will try to turn the tide against a talented LAC team that includes James Harden, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.

Based on the injury report, it appears that both teams are almost fully healthy after the All-Star break, with only a few players expected to miss the game.

F Sasha Vezenkov – OUT (ankle)

C Alex Len – OUT (Illness)

Looking at the list, Paul George’s name certainly sticks out as the All-Star forward is set to miss Sunday’s game due to a lower leg injury. George is averaging over 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game this season. With him sitting out, the Kings will find themselves at an advantage with such a strong two-way player off the court.

For Sacramento, Alex Len sitting out could lead to a more small-ball approach for HC Mike Brown. If he does look for a backup big man, C JaVale McGee could get the nod after not playing in the last four games for the Kings.

Sunday’s game will tip off at 6:30 P.M. PT in Crypto.com Arena.
