TRANSFER UPDATE: Hull City complete deal for £4m international midfielder.

Roma launch partnership with Hull City for player development
Hull City are expecting a busy end to the January transfer window
Hull City is nearing the acquisition of Turkish international Abdulkadir Omur, signaling further ambition from owner Acun Ilicali. Despite weeks of negotiations, the club initially faced challenges persuading Trabzonspor to finalize the deal, as the former Super Lig champions preferred selling the 24-year-old creative midfielder to a domestic club. However, in a significant development over the past 24 hours, owner Ilicali successfully brokered a breakthrough, reaching an agreement on a fee believed to be around £4 million.
The athlete, previously associated with substantial transfers exceeding £20 million to Manchester City and Liverpool, has reportedly informed Papaya Park authorities about his desire to transfer to the MKM Stadium. It is anticipated that a deal will be finalized early in the week, with the player set to arrive in England to complete the necessary formalities for his move.

Abdulkadir’s arrival is poised to initiate a flurry of last-minute dealings ahead of the 11 pm transfer deadline on Thursday. The loan-to-buy transfer of Ryan Giles from Luton Town is expected to be officially announced, following the recall of Ruben Vinagre by Sporting Lisbon, who then sent him to Hellas Verona for the remainder of the season.

Securing a winger remains a top priority before the week concludes, and there are indications that some players will be departing. As reported by Hull Live earlier this week, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is currently in Belgium finalizing his loan move to Westerlo. Additionally, bids for Matt Ingram and Jason Lokilo are under consideration, suggesting they might be on the verge of moving to new clubs.
