aggressive tackling The favourites to land in Nashville at No. 7 are Olu Fashanu of Penn State and Joe Alt of Notre Dame, but as many as five different players have been projected as first-round selections for the Titans. Tennessee is anticipated to choose between wide receiver and left tackle in each of those mock drafts.

TennesseeTitans.com lists the five names that have been mentioned as follows:

Breaking Down Notre Dame Tackle Joe Alt - Windy City GridironJoe Alt, Notre Dame

  • Position: Offensive tackle
  • PFF rank: No. 6
  • Quick thought: Alt has been, without question, the most popular name among mock drafts for the Titans at No. 7. The All-American from Notre Dame is a player who can immediately step into the left tackle spot and make an impact. The only question? Will another team see Alt’s value and grab him before Tennessee gets the opportunity.

Penn State Football's Singleton, Fashanu Named To Walter Camp Player Of The Year Award Watch List | Onward StateOlu Fashanu, Penn State

  • Position: Offensive tackle
  • PFF rank: No. 10
  • Quick thought: If Alt isn’t available, Fashanu has been the guy considered next in line for the Titans. He’s another left tackle who can quickly win the starting job in Nashville. This is a “1a-1b” situation. If Tennessee wants an offensive tackle and Alt is off the board, then Fashanu is the pick.

Washington WR Rome Odunze looks for a final starring chapter in the College Football PlayoffRome Odunze, Washington

  • Position: Wide receiver
  • PFF rank: No. 8
  • Quick thought: The Titans also need a wide receiver. Because of the concerns at left tackle, most pundits believe the organization will wait until a later round to add a playmaker. If Tennessee changes course, though, Odunze has been the most popular name. The former Washington receiver can be a high-volume receiver and would make an excellent running mate to DeAndre Hopkins.

NFL Draft 2024: Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze for Giants? Weighing pros and cons - nj.comMalik Nabers, LSU

  • Position: Wide receiver
  • PFF rank: No. 4
  • Quick thought: It is very, very unlikely that Tennessee will have the opportunity to take Nabers with the No. 7 pick, but anything is possible in the NFL Draft, right? The LSU receiver can serve as a deep threat for Will Levis in the passing game, but this one feels like a long shot.

Taliese Fuaga Scouting Report | NFL Draft 2024Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State

  • Position: Offensive tackle
  • PFF rank: No. 11
  • Quick thought: Fuaga isn’t a name associated with Tennessee much, but it doesn’t mean he’s out of the running. The Oregon State product has gained traction since the Reese’s Senior Bowl and could potentially be in the mix with Alt and Fashanu as one of the best offensive tackles in the draft class. If he has a strong showing at the NFL Scouting Combine, he might become a legitimate option at No. 7.
