Sheffield Wednesday star discusses what Danny Rohl has requested of him more

In a recent interview, Di’Shon Bernard, a standout for Sheffield Wednesday, was all praise for head coach Danny Rohl.

The Manchester Evening News has spoken with the central defender.

What Di’Shon Bernard has said about Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl

The Owls’ centre defender seems to be enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with and pick up knowledge from Rohl.

Wednesday now has a realistic opportunity to avoid relegation this season thanks to the German head coach.

When he joined the team, Wednesday had not yet won a game, but they are currently very much in the running to make it.

Bernard has been questioned about his managerial style, and he says he has loved working with the head coach of Wednesday.

Additionally, he implied that he had instructed him to do something for which the previous administration had not requested him.

To be fair, Bernard said to the Manchester Evening News, “It has been really good.” Everyone’s perspective on what can be done with football has been expanded by his and Henrik’s comprehension of the game.

Personally, I’m willing to play for him in any capacity he needs me to because of his faith and confidence in me. That’s evident in everything about me and everyone else.

“He has given everyone confidence and belief, and that will always help us play better.

“Bringing the ball out from the back is something I’m used to doing, and he is recognising it, which gives me more confidence to actually do it.”

Bernard has been a shining light this season

Bernard is an exception to the trend of some of Wednesday’s summer signings not working out as expected.

The Jamaican international, who left Manchester United on a free transfer, signed on Wednesday. He has played in 33 games this year.

This season’s Wednesday game time will have pleased Bernard. He’ll want to play even more games and establish some roots now.

He went on loan to Portsmouth, Hull, and Salford on a few occasions when he was at Old Trafford.

It’s interesting to note that Rohl hopes Bernard can continue to carry the ball out of the back more frequently.

Everyone has witnessed the change under the new manager, who appears to be an exciting hire.

Under his direction, there are several success stories, including Bernard.

The player, who is still only 23 years old, will hopefully be able to improve even more under Rohl on Wednesday.
