Salford man is a player you can trust always – Krisnan Inu

Krisnan Inu, the assistant coach, says the team can always rely on Marc Sneyd to make an impact with the boot.

The England international earned a berth in the Betfred Super League Team of the Week after being one of the game’s most impressive players against Castleford Tigers.

In the end, Salford Red Devils’ in-play and on-tee kicking proved to be the difference on the scoreboard as they secured their first two points of 2024.

Before a crucial matchup with Hull KR, Inu was questioned regarding the significance of our number seven: He informed the media, “Sneydy’s the ultimate professional.”

He is at his best when things are going his way and the game plan is implemented. He also understands how to play the game and how his body works.

He is a valuable asset and does an excellent job navigating the ship.

As a former goal kicker, Inu understands the strain of making the most difficult conversions.

“It does have a significant impact, especially when you have a kicker of Sneydy’s calibre,” he said.

“He’s always the one to add the extras, whether it’s a penalty or a conversion. We appreciate his talent, particularly his ability to kick goals.

Speaking of KR, Inu stated that while the team took some time to celebrate their victory, they soon switched their focus to their significant Round 3 assignment.

“The week always gets off to a terrific start following a victory.

The excitement lasts, we loved it, but it’s time to move on now, Inu added. “Like I said last week, we’re over that now and we’re focusing on Hull KR.”
