Sad news: Green Bay Packers head coach (Matt LaFleur) announced the shocking death of his beloved……

Boston College football brought in ten transfers after the 2023 season to build depth and improve talent throughout the roster. The Eagles under then head coach Jeff Hafley brought in a pair of running backs, three defensive backs, and a pair of wide outs. The latter could be argued that they were biggest names brought in by the Eagles. Jayden McGowan from Vanderbilt, and Jerand Bradley from Texas Tech gave the Eagles a pair of weapons, and helped bolster an already talented wide receiver room. Given the position they played, they both connected with wide receivers coach Darrell Wyatt and chose the Eagles, even staying aboard after Jeff Hafley left for the Green Bay Packers.

Bradley a lengthy redshirt junior 6-5 receiver from Frisco, Texas finished his career with the Red Raiders with 92 catches for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns. “What led me here was the great coaching staff that was here,” he explained on Monday. “The people that recruited me left, but I was still loyal to the new staff that came. I trusted what they were going to be able to do to help me just in learning and I’ve learned a lot since I’ve been here.”

McGowan, a speedy 5-8 junior from Laurens (SC) was recently named to Bruce Feldman’s Freak List. According to the article he ran a 4.36 40 this summer, while benching 370, squatting 500 and power cleaning 275. He had 36 receptions last season for the Commodores and ran for 109 additional yards. “I felt like I was getting comfortable at Vanderbilt and wasn’t really progressing as a player, but it was a fun program, love all the guys there but I felt like I needed to move on,” he explained on Tuesday. “BC and the coaches here, specifically Coach Wyatt, he showed me that he could develop me into a true receiver.”

The work that Wyatt had done with players like Zay Flowers, Ryan O’Keefe, Gabriel Davis and Marlon Williams stood out. “He he had a lot of great guys in the past so I know that I could come here and develop into he player that I wanted to be.”

Both wide receivers have been very active during the fall practices, and seem primed to play a major role for BC this season. Bradley made an incredible leaping catch on Tuesday, stretching out and high pointing a ball away from a defensive back, while McGowan showcased his true speed on a number of passes from quarterback Grayson James.
