The Big Ten Conference games between Oregon Football and Purdue University have been moved from Saturday to Friday.

The 2024 football schedule for Oregon has been modified, with two games now scheduled for Friday nights.

On Saturday, October 5, Oregon was scheduled to host Michigan State, and on October 19, Oregon was scheduled to play on the road at Purdue. They’ve both been moved to the previous Friday.

The new times for Oregon’s games against these two Big Ten opponents are 6 p.m. PT on October 4 (Oregon at Michigan State) and 5 p.m. PT on October 18 (Oregon at Purdue). FOX is scheduled to broadcast both games.

The Ducks’ Big Ten home debut will be against the Spartans. On September 28, Oregon will play its first Big Ten game at the Rose Bowl versus UCLA.

“Every coach, player wants to play in big games.”

– Dan Lanning

The Ducks’ 2024 campaign starts on August 31 with a home game against Idaho and September 7 with a game against Boise State. The squad then plays its final nonconference game in Corvallis against in-state foe Oregon State.

“As crazy as College football has been in the last three years, there’s certainly some clarity for us, to Oregon, with the conference that we’re joining and where that positions us for the future,” Lanning stated on On3.

The future appears bright with the team’s Big Ten Conference debut, new opponents, and unfamiliar gameday surroundings. Oregon is a serious contender as well as a participant. The Big Ten Conference Title is expected to be won by the Ducks.
