The 2024 WNBA season is over, and the two players who have received the most media attention and headlines are Caitlin Clark, a rookie for the Indiana Fever, and her main rival, Angel Reese. Reese’s wrist injury in the late season and the surgery that followed effectively made her the WNBA Rookie of the Year Runner-Up, but Clark persevered through the remainder of the season as her Fever lost to the Connecticut Sun in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Playoffs. Clark had an incredible season that was worthy of her legacy as the NCAA’s all-time top scorer, but by the end of the season, five players had overtaken her on the scoring charts.
