Sacramento found out their selection location in the 2024 NBA Draft at the draft lottery on Sunday.

14 clubs found out where they would choose in the next 2024 NBA Draft on Sunday afternoon at the 2024 NBA Draft Lottery.

Among those clubs was the Kings, who were selected with the thirteenth overall pick.

The franchise is no stranger to choosing in the top-14, having just rebuilt their roster through the draft lottery. It was where players like Keegan Murray, Davion Mitchell, and De’Aaron Fox were abducted.

The beam team performed with the same talent as they did in a far more difficult league this past season. They lost against the Pelicans by seven points, but they were still able to go to the play-in game. Their season ended with the ninth best draft odds for them.

Sacramento had a 93% chance of securing the No. 13 pick and only about a 4% chance of being among the top four.

The team will still have the chance to choose from a wide range of strong talents, even though the majority of draft experts are almost unanimous in saying that there is less of a punch at the top this year.

Prospects will now demonstrate their measurements, abilities, and basketball knowledge at the NBA Draft Combine. Starting at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 26 and ending with the second round on Thursday, June 27, the 2024 NBA Draft will be the first-ever two-day event.
