Crystal Palace key player seen in training, but six are still missing ahead of Nottingham Forest match

Although Michael Olise only played 11 minutes in his most recent Crystal Palace game, he is back in the training this week.

Days after LondonWorld exclusively revealed that the winger was very close to making a comeback to action, Palace began training. Olise may start this weekend’s match against Nottingham Forest as a substitute after being forced off the pitch against Brighton in February. He was observed working out at Copers Cope Road, Beckenham, the club’s location.

Oliver Glasner, the new manager, has won one of his three games in charge, but the players’ output has improved dramatically. After spending a week in Spain for training, they will be playing for the first time in three weeks on Saturday against Forest.

However, there’s no denying that Olise, who contributed 11 assists the previous season, will be a huge asset to the team and his new management. Six players are still sidelined for the Eagles due to serious injuries, including goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who hurt his shoulder last week while playing for England, and midfielder Cheick Doucoure.

Both Marc Guehi, who had to have knee surgery and is still not sure when he will return, and Rob Holding, who joined the team from Arsenal in the summer, are out.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is currently sidelined due to injury and will not play this weekend, as is Jeffrey Schlupp, who is also dealing with a thigh ailment. More importantly, the Eagles are eight points above the drop zone while being ranked 14th in the Premier League standings.
