JUST IN: Patriots confirms the signing of American football center

Andrews has reportedly been contracted till the 2025 season.

David Andrews appears to be the latest example of the New England Patriots maintaining essential players. As first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates on Thursday, New England has agreed to extend Andrews’ contract through the 2025 season. Andrews was about to approach the final year of his contract.

Andrews will allegedly earn a basic salary of $12 million over the next two seasons. According to Yates, the new pact has a potential value of $13 million and a $8 million guarantee.

Andrews, 31, has spent all eight of his NFL seasons with the Patriots. Not only has he established himself at centre, but he has also been named captain six times. It is believed that Andrews will be honoured again in the 2024 campaign.

Andrews previously agreed to a four-year deal with the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent in March 2021.
