That conveys Daniels’ goals in a very straightforward manner. As a gamer, he is aware that his efforts must not only win him the team’s respect and a starting position, but also win the admiration of the fans.
Recognising that things might not work out right away demonstrates his maturity as a novice.
Things are starting to get better for the Commanders with the new members of the roster. The team’s ceiling is as high as they will allow it to be if everyone can agree on what the organization’s aims and culture could and should be.
