‘Funky Fall’: Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen Has To Have X-Ray After 48-42 Win Over Lions……see details

The biggest blemish on Allen’s day was a trip to the X-ray room after the game with head athletic trainer Nate Breske to look at his shoulder after he “took a funky fall.” But he said everything checked out and it was more “precaution” and for “peace of mind.”

The Buffalo Bills had a scary moment moments after the team finished their 48-42 win over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Sunday. Bills quarterback Josh Allen had to receive medical attention immediately following the game.

Allen has played incredible football in the last two weeks. He played nearly perfect in the Buffalo’s 44-42 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14 when he threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns.

Against the Lions, Allen continued to make his case for the NFL MVP. The 2018 first-round pick went 23-of-34 passing for 362 yards and two touchdowns. He added another 68 yards on the ground and scored two rushing touchdowns.

Allen’s performance on Sunday made Jared Goff’s 494 passing yards and five touchdown passes a footnote on the afternoon.

However, Allen wasn’t sure about his health after the game.

Per ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, Allen told reporters during his postgame press conference that he went to seek an x-ray after succumbing to a “funky fall.” Allen doesn’t have anything broken.

“Josh Allen went to the x-ray room just outside the Bills’ locker room after the game, but he just said he simply wanted peace of mind after taking a “funky fall.” No reason for concern after the x-rays were taken. No broken bones,” Darlington posted on X.
