Racing legend John Force released from hospital one month after suffering traumatic brain injury when his car EXPLODED in 300mph crash

After nearly a month in the hospital after suffering a traumatic brain inquiry as a result of a 300 miles-per-hour fiery crash, racing legend John Force has been released.

The brain injury occurred during a crash in the first round of Funny Car eliminations at the Virginia Nationals in June.

Force’s car had massive engine failure when crossing the finish line, causing his car to go across the center line and slam into the concrete guard before also hitting a wall.

The 75-year-old Force also suffered a fractured sternum in the incident.

Force has competed at the highest level of racing despite his age and will now work on an outpatient basis to recover, according to a release from John Force Racing.
