Standing at a height of six feet three inches and weighing 205 pounds, Chris Lacy, a 28-year-old native of DeSoto, Texas, had a stint with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. Unfortunately, he was sidelined during the preseason due to an injury. Lacy’s professional journey commenced in 2018 when he signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent.

Before his tenure with Las Vegas, Lacy navigated through various NFL teams, including the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and the Chicago Bears. While donning the Lions’ jersey, he participated in eight regular-season games, securing three catches for a total of 60 yards.

Lacy’s collegiate football career unfolded over four seasons at Oklahoma State from 2014 to 2017. During this period, he demonstrated his prowess by making 63 catches, accumulating 920 yards, scoring five touchdowns, executing one carry for 26 yards, and contributing six kick returns for a total of 97 yards in 32 games for the Cowboys. Additionally, Lacy showcased his commitment to academic excellence, earning the distinction of a three-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

The 2023 preseason setback with the Raiders did not diminish Lacy’s journey, marked by perseverance and adaptability across multiple NFL teams. His experience extends beyond the field, reflecting a commendable academic commitment during his collegiate years. As he navigates through different chapters of his professional football career, Lacy remains a seasoned player with a diverse skill set acquired through his collegiate and NFL experiences.
