The NFL offseason represents a period of optimism for numerous teams. Despite their offensive line struggles last season, the Tennessee Titans are hopeful for enhancements under their new offensive line coach, Bill Callahan. We delve into players such as Joe Alt from Notre Dame, Tyron Smith from the Cowboys, and Jonah Williams from the Bengals as potential additions.

Picture a revamped Tennessee Titans offensive line featuring Peter Skoronski alongside first-round pick Joe Alt from Notre Dame, second-round pick Jackson Powers-Johnson, center Connor Williams from the Miami Dolphins, and tackles Tyron Smith from the Dallas Cowboys and Jonah Williams from the Cincinnati Bengals.

Overthecap.com reports that the Titans have more than $67 million in salary cap space, providing ample opportunity to sign free agents once the signing window opens in March.

The NFL Draft in April offers significant opportunities for the Titans to strengthen one of the weakest offensive lines in football. AllTitans.com is engaging in an exercise of hopeful speculation by using available tools and intelligence about talent to construct the 2024 Titans offensive line.

Pro Football Focus (PFF), an analytics platform that assesses and grades the performance of every NFL player, has compiled a list of the best free-agent offensive linemen available and their potential landing spots.

Regarding the draft, various media outlets have been evaluating incoming college players and projecting their NFL teams for months leading up to the April 25-27 draft weekend.

Peter Skoronski had a solid rookie season, transitioning from tackle to guard after an impressive college career at Stanford as an All-American left tackle. While a new coaching staff could bring changes, Skoronski seems set as the left guard.

Titans coach Brian Callahan and offensive line coach Bill Callahan have several options to enhance their offensive line and protect quarterback Will Levis better.

Numerous mock drafts suggest the Titans could select Joe Alt with the seventh pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Although much was written about the Titans’ offensive line struggles last season, a new regime brings new opportunities. Let’s examine some players the Titans could consider in free agency or the NFL Draft to rebuild their offensive line.

With Skronski at left guard, the Titans’ most pressing need is at the tackle positions. While elite tackles are rare in free agency, Tyron Smith is considered one of the best, even at 33 years old with 14 seasons in the league. PFF projects Smith could sign a one-year contract for $10 million.

For a more long-term option to support a young quarterback, the Titans could consider 26-year-old Jonah Williams from the Bengals. Williams, familiar with Callahan from their time together in Cincinnati, could be signed to a PFF-projected four-year deal at $16 million per season, assuming a move back to left tackle.

Moving to the right side, Jackson Powers-Johnson could fill the guard position. If available at pick 38 in the second round, he could be a target for the Titans. Alternatively, the Titans have numerous draft options for the position, such as Jordan Morgan from Arizona and Patrick Paul from Houston.

If the Titans select Alt in the first round, they might opt for linemen in their first two picks. With seven picks in the draft, they could wait until the fourth round or later to address other positions. Potential third to fifth-round picks include Kiran Amegadjie from Yale, Matt Goncalves from Pitt, and Dominick Puni from Kansas. Further down the draft board, Julian Pearl from Illinois or Anthony Belton from NC State could be considered.

Robert Hunt from the Miami Dolphins and Mekhi Becton from the New York Jets are other NFL free agent linemen PFF believes could be suitable for the Titans.

Center Aaron Brewer is among the Titans’ 24 free agents. PFF suggests the Titans could sign Connor Williams from the Dolphins if they decide to part ways with Brewer.

These lists will evolve, and updates will be provided through the draft and into the regular season.
