Cal and Stanford, both recently admitted to the Atlantic Coast Conference, announced several kickoff times and TV schedules on Thursday for the upcoming 2024 football season.

Stanford’s regular season will conclude with an away game against San Jose State on November 29th at 1 p.m. PT, airing on CBS. This matchup marks the return of the Bill Walsh Legacy Game, which hasn’t been played since 2013. It will also be the second consecutive year that San Jose State has a CBS afternoon game, following last season’s loss to Oregon State in their home opener.

The Golden Bears announced kickoff details for four games, while the Cardinal, which had already disclosed two kickoff times, revealed the start times of three additional games.

Cal will kick off the season against UC Davis in Berkeley at 2 p.m. PT on ACC Network Extra. Subsequently, Cal will play two consecutive games on ESPN networks—against Auburn on Sept. 7 at 12:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2, followed by a home game against San Diego State on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN. Their sole Friday night game will be on Nov. 8 at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem (5 p.m. PT, ACC Network).

Stanford will start the season with two home games, facing TCU on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN, and Cal Poly on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. PT on ACC Network Extra (the TCU game’s time had previously been announced).

After a bye week, Stanford will play its first-ever ACC game at Syracuse on Sept. 20 at 4:30 p.m. PT on ESPN.

On Wednesday, NBC announced that Stanford will play Notre Dame in South Bend for The Legends Trophy at 12:30 p.m. PT on Oct. 12, televised by NBC and streamed on Peacock.

The Golden Bears and the Cardinal will play the 127th Big Game in Berkeley on Nov. 23, but the start time has yet to be announced.

Stanford finished last season 3-9 while Cal finished 6-7, losing to Texas Tech in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl.
