However, after being sighted with Amber Rose, Stroud lately received backlash from admirers on social media. Despite the lack of evidence supporting a romantic link between them, some fans were offended by the sighting.
Critics have taken issue with Rose’s forty years of age and Stroud’s twenty-two years.
Social media users harshly reacted to the sighting.
When Stroud and Rose were spotted together, social media was ablaze with commentary, but it has since been confirmed that the well-liked couple is not dating.
We met yesterday at a softball game and literally don’t know one another. Thank you again, C.J. Stroud, for giving me a ride to my hotel after the sprinter left,” Rose wrote on her Instagram.
Nevertheless, despite this denial, internet users haven’t stopped making jokes about the couple, most of which were directed at the quarterback for the Houston Texans.
“Almost as old as his mom,” one person on Twitter said.
“NO STROUD GET AWAY FROM HER,” said a different person.
“Damn bro, Amber Rose about to take my dawg CJ Stroud abilities on the field away lol,” said another.
A young quarterback shouldn’t be making this kind of off-field headline, especially after he was spotted in the Kardashians’ private suite during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl game.
The Texans hadn’t had a winning season since the Deshaun Watson era, but his rookie campaign was exceptionally remarkable, leading the team to the postseason.
