Following his first-ever Indianapolis 500 victory and his acceptance of the Coca-Cola 600 fiasco, Kyle Larson went to Lawrenceburg Speedway for the High Limit Racing Series. To help wash away the Double’s bitter taste, he wanted to grab his second of the season. And that’s exactly what happened.

Kyle Larson ended his winless streak by squeezing by Rico Abreu, Corey Day, and Parker Price-Miller. He hadn’t visited victory lane in his cherished series since the first game of the season. But there were a few other reasons why this victory was unique.

Kyle Larson honours those with alopecia by dedicating his ascent to the top of High Limit Racing.

It’s no secret that Lady Luck hadn’t been favoring Kyle Larson as of late. From the Indy 500 delay to the Coca-Cola 600’s abrupt end, Larson just couldn’t seem to catch a break. Fortunately that all changed as he arrived at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Eager to catch up with points leader and series co-owner Brad Sweet, Larson had delivered a stellar run on the dirt track to get back up to speed.

But instead of celebrating the win with a few bottles of champagne, Larson shifted focus to a major issue for many young men and women. As the ‘High Roller’ after winning the race, Kyle Larson was now eligible to pick a charity of his choice to donate the win bonus to. His choice? The treatment of a condition that affects roughly 6.7 million people in the United States alone, including a few close family members of NASCAR drivers.
