In 2024, Wilson will earn slightly more than $1 million, while Stidham will get close to $4.5 million. Denver is a possibility for a team in need of a quarterback before the deadline. Wilson would be on his third NFL team by now if he were traded. On the other hand, a trade might be advantageous in his situation. Wilson’s play has been appreciated by Sean Payton, who has also given him flowers when needed. He is currently ranked no higher than third on the depth chart, though. Before seeing the field, he would need a devastating wave of injuries or ineptitude to engorge Denver.
