In a general sense, it seems unlikely, especially after a recent development that appeared to eliminate the possibility. However, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on Wednesday that the Detroit Lions “contacted” the New York Jets regarding edge rusher Haason Reddick. The season-ending injury to Aidan Hutchinson has reignited speculation about the Lions’ interest in Reddick. It seems that general manager Brad Holmes reaching out to the Jets was more about due diligence, but until further action is taken, a trade for Reddick can’t be completely dismissed.
