
On Tuesday, March 25, Finebaum said that he expects Florida head coach Billy Napier to lose four consecutive games when he faces the LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Texas Longhorns, and Texas Longhorns over a month’s span. When the Horns hosted the Gators during the 2024 regular season, Texas demolished Florida.
The Longhorns stormed into the SEC and made it to the conference championship game at the end of their first season in the conference. Now, Texas is looking to improve upon its success and, hopefully, bring home that conference title.
One ESPN analyst included the Horns within a predicted four-game losing streak for another SEC program, the Florida Gators.
Texas is scheduled to visit Florida on Oct. 4 when the Horns play the Gators in their first conference game of the season. ESPN’s Paul Finebaum expects Texas to win handily. In fact, he expects that game to be the third game in a row that Florida will lose.
