Metallica has announced an Australian tour for November 2025 as part of their M72 World Tour, marking their first visit in 12 years.
The tour features five shows across Australia and one in Auckland, New Zealand, with support from Suicidal Tendencies and Evanescence.

– **November 5, 2025**: Adelaide Oval, Adelaide SA
– **November 8, 2025**: Marvel Stadium, Melbourne VIC
– **November 12, 2025**: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane QLD
– **November 15, 2025**: Accor Stadium, Sydney NSW
– **November 19, 2025**: Eden Park, Auckland NZ
The tour kicks off with a major show in Perth and continues to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. It supports Metallica’s critically acclaimed album, *72 Seasons*, which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Charts.
The tour promises the same exciting format that fans experienced in North America and Europe, including the popular ‘Snake Pit’ setup and various VIP offerings. In August 2022, the M72 tour set an attendance record at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, drawing nearly 80,000 fans.
Pre-sale tickets for the Australian shows will be available on November 4 at 12 PM local time.
