South Carolina has suspended freshman Sahnya Jah indefinitely.

The team announced her suspension 40 minutes ahead of tipoff against Missouri on Thursday night, saying that Jah had been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

No other details were given of Jah’s suspension.

The freshman has appeared in 16 games this season, averaging three points and two rebounds.

She’s also the second player to be missing for the top-ranked Gamecocks, who are without leading scorer and rebounder Kamilla Cardoso, who is competing in Olympic qualifying with Brazil.

Even still, the Gamecocks took care of business easily against the Tigers in an 83-45 win. MiLaysia Fulwiley led the team with 19 points. They’ll next face No. 11 UConn on Sunday.
