Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan spoke to reporters ahead of Wednesday’s practice, discussing key updates on player conditions as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Quarterback Will Levis, who has missed the last two games due to a shoulder injury, is expected to practice. Callahan noted that the team’s focus will be on assessing Levis’s progress in consecutive throwing sessions throughout the week.
Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is unlikely to practice, remaining week-to-week as he recovers. In more positive news, running back Tyjae Spears is anticipated to return after a hamstring injury.
Callahan also praised wide receiver Calvin Ridley for his dedication, highlighting Ridley’s early morning training on the JUGS machine prior to his impressive performance against the Lions, where he recorded 10 catches for 143 yards.
As for the upcoming matchup, Callahan acknowledged the Patriots’ struggles this season, with a 2-6 record and ranking last in offensive production. However, he emphasized the Patriots’ proud history and determination to turn their season around, describing them as a tough and hungry opponent. The Titans aim to build on their recent performances as they head into this critical game.
