ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Bryant Wesco, a wide receiver for Clemson, will not participate in Saturday’s game against Virginia because he is still recovering from a recent injury. Wesco will miss this game for the second consecutive one while he heals from an unspecified ailment he allegedly sustained during the Tigers’ victory over Florida State.Although Clemson did not initially include Wesco on the availability report, he was seen wearing a walking boot earlier that week and did not participate in last week’s game against Wake Forest. After today’s game, Clemson (5-1, 4-0 ACC) will have an off week, and the club believes Wesco will be available in time for their Nov. 2 game against Louisville.
