Brisbane Broncos Head Coach Michael Maguire has named a 26-man squad for Saturday’s first trial clash against the Burleigh Bears at UAA Park.

The starting lineup features six of the Broncos top 30 players, with Jock Madden to captain the side in their first hit out of the preseason.

Delouise Hoeter will make his long-awaited return in Broncos colours since a season ending knee injury in late April.

Tyson Smoothy, Ben Te Kura, Josiah Karapani, Josh Rogers and Jaiyden Hunt will also start at Burleigh.

Burleigh Bear Matt Koellner will don both sides’ colours, set to start with the Broncos, before pulling on the Bears’ jersey in the second half.

Extended train and triallists Sione Hopoate, Latrell Siegwalt, Tristan Powell and Luke Gale make up the starting pack.

Emerging young talents Coby Black and Cam Bukowski will come off the bench.

Gates Open at Miami, at 1pm, with kickoff of the main game at 5pm.
