Breaking News: $160 Million Ex-Georgia Quarterback Predicted to Team Up With Dawgs Star

Matthew Stafford will be back with the Los Angeles Rams in 2025, and there’s a chance he could be joined by another former member of the Georgia Bulldogs following the NFL draft.

After being given permission to speak with the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Giants amid dissatisfaction with his contract, Stafford ultimately decided to stay put and help the Rams push for another Super Bowl title in 2025 after losing in the divisional round this past season.

Stafford signed a four-year, $160 million contract in 2022 after helping the Rams to Super Bowl glory during the 2021 season.

This deal was reworked last offseason to give Stafford a pay bump for 2024, and the Rams have done so again to give the veteran a “significant raise” in 2025, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. Though free agency is on the imminent horizon, focus will eventually turn to the draft, and Pro Football Focus is predicting that Los Angeles will acquire another former Bulldogs standout in the first round.
