The 59-year-old Tunisian coach was appointed in July and has since won his first official game in charge. Having spent over two months with the squad in pre-season, Nabi has managed to improve the team and brought confidence back in the players.
Speaking to FARPost, the Kaizer Chiefs legend said there was light at the end of the tunnel following Saturday’s match. Amakhosi emerged 2-1 winners over Marumo Gallants in their first Betway Premiership match.
“For now, we can’t say much about one game,” Khumalo saod.
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. There’s so much change. When you look at the Toyota Cup and Gallants, there’s a vast improvement.”
Khumalo commended Nabi for instilling a positive attitude in the players.
- “It’s good we won the first game for the morale of the players and the fans, but for me, I see things differently from the fans and media,” he said.
