Before he ever stepped foot on the field for a live game with the Hurricanes, Miami’s ranking would be higher and the Canes players around Ward would also have higher expectations.

5. Ward will help bring the Miami fans together.
For a long time, there’s been much consternation over Miami’s quarterback play. Miami fans arguing about which player should be Miami’s quarterback has been a common topic.
