The Detroit Pistons have added another player to their list of injuries.

Isaiah Stewart is set to be sidelined for a minimum of 10 to 14 days due to an ankle sprain, as confirmed by the team on Thursday. The injury occurred during their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday when Stewart rolled his left ankle and had to exit with 9 minutes remaining. Subsequently diagnosed with a left ankle sprain, he was absent from Detroit’s recent road defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN first reported Stewart’s current status.

This marks the fourth occasion this season that Stewart, who has started in 34 games, has appeared on the injury report. He previously missed Detroit’s match against the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 6 due to a left ankle sprain, was sidelined for eight consecutive games in December and January with a sprained right big toe, and sat out two games in December due to a shoulder sprain.

Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons face heightened expectations following their recent recognition.

As the starting power forward for Detroit, Ivey, now in his fourth year, boasts averages of 11 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Impressively, he has achieved a career-high 37.4% success rate from beyond the arc. Additionally, Ivey has demonstrated versatility by assuming the center role in smaller lineups. However, a recent injury is expected to sideline him until the All-Star break, commencing on Feb. 15 for the Pistons.
