Kathryn Hahn’s new comments following the finale of Agatha All Along seem to imply Agatha Harkness won’t be returning to the MCU, which makes me very upset. Agatha All Along has quickly become one of my favorite Marvel Studios projects, particularly since it carries on many of the themes started in WandaVision, which I also loved, and puts Kathryn Hahn’s charismatic and captivating Agatha Harkness front-and-center. Agatha Harkness was the perfect little-known Marvel Comics character to get a solo series in the MCU, and I would love to see her return.
Agatha All Along came to an end on October 30, with the finale exploring Agatha Harkness’ history with Nicholas Scratch, her experiences with her coven on the Witches’ Road and her sacrifice to Death and return as a ghost. I loved Agatha All Along’s finale, “Maiden Mother Crone,” especially since it set up the next chapter of the storyline started in WandaVision. Agatha Harkness and Joe Locke’s Billy Maximoff seemed to set off on a new adventure, but Kathryn Hahn’s new comments have me worried that Agatha may not actually return.
