It is a blow to Detroit’s high-octane offense and yet another setback to Williams’ career. According to an ESPN report, wide receiver Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions is facing a two-game suspension for violating the league’s performance enhancing substances (PES) policy. The NFL PES policy states that a player is subject to a two-game suspension if they have a positive test result for a “Stimulant, Diuretic or Masking Agent.” This is Williams’ second suspension in as many years.
