BREAKING NEWS: Rams Offensive Lineman Expected To Miss

For Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams, the NFL season is getting off to a bit of a nightmarish start.

Not only did they suffer a devastating loss in their rematch with the Detroit Lions, but they will also be without two of their key offensive players for the next month or so.

After star wide receiver Puka Nacua was placed on injured reserve (IR), G/C Steve Avila will now join him, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.

Although the organization hasn’t disclosed Avila’s status, Schultz thinks it’s highly probable that he’ll be placed on injured reserve and might miss four to six weeks.

As he said, after being selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, he didn’t miss a single action during his first season.

After the first half of the season’s opening game, he was sidelined, forcing Matthew Stafford to operate behind a makeshift offensive line.

The Rams’ bad luck simply keeps getting worse as they already had a backup left tackle due to a suspension and a backup right tackle due to an injury.

Nacua is presently battling with a knee ailment, and although the organization provided little information about the nature of the issue,
