Life may have just gotten a little easier on Sunday for Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions receivers. Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. will be out for at least two weeks due to an injury to his right foot, ESPN reported

That means he won’t be on the field when the .. visit the Lions on Sunday for a rematch of their divisional playoff game from last season.

Pro Football Focus rated Winfield as the NFL’s No. 1 safety last season. He earned first-team AP All-Pro honors last season after leading the league with six forced fumbles and recording career-highs in interceptions (three), pass deflections (12) and tackles (122).

Winfield suffered the injury late in Tampa Bay’s Week 1 game against Washington. He was one of four Bucs defensive backs to leave Sunday’s game with an injury, along with cornerbacks Zyon McCollum, Bryce Hall and Josh Hayes
