Chase Elliott has been named the NASCAR Cup Series Most Popular Driver for the seventh consecutive year, solidifying his status as one of the sport’s most beloved figures. The honor was announced during the 2024 NASCAR Awards at the Charlotte Convention Center, where Elliott received 266,363 votes, continuing a 17-year streak of Hendrick Motorsports drivers holding the title.

This achievement places Elliott among an elite group of drivers, including his father, Bill Elliott, who holds the record with 16 wins, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., who secured 15 titles. Elliott’s victory also marks the 34th consecutive year that either an Elliott or an Earnhardt has won the award.

Reflecting on the honor, Elliott expressed gratitude towards his fans, acknowledging their unwavering support. He emphasized that the award represents not just his individual efforts but the collective story of his family and team.
