Casey McLean is too young to go out for a drink and play a cheeky hand of blackjack with his Panthers teammates in Las Vegas next month, but the teenage sensation is old enough to know what he needs to work on after a whirlwind few months on the field that included an NRL start and then four tries on debut for the Kiwis.
Still only 18, McLean will be one of several new faces in the Penrith side when they begin their quest for a fifth-straight title in Vegas where the exciting outside back will have to skip some of the pre-game festivities.
“If I’m lucky enough to go then I’ll be chilling in my room for most of it,” he laughed.
