Breaking News: Transfer offensive lineman from ACC commits to South Carolina……

South Carolina has added its second transfer of the weekend. On Saturday, Wake Forest offensive lineman Nick Sharpe signed with South Carolina, he confirmed to The State. On3’s Pete Nakos first reported the commitment. The news comes just hours after Missouri edge rusher Jaylen Brown announced he was joining South Carolina, marking the Gamecocks’ first transfer portal addition of the offseason. Sharpe, a 6-foot-2, 330-pound redshirt junior from Gastonia, North Carolina, has two years of eligibility remaining, he told The State, but brings experience — mainly at the guard position — to the South Carolina offensive line room. He played in all 12 games this past season, totaling a whopping 718 snaps. And according to Pro Football Focus’ grades, Sharpe was the Demon Deacons’ top overall offensive guard last season.
