In the midst of the Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson drama, Dale Earnhardt Jr. offered his opinion.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. weighs in on Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson dust-up, whether it’s time for Busch to panic

Dale Earnhardt Jr. weighed in on the Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson dust up and amid that, if it was time for Busch to panic about what’s to come.

The two champions made contact and then the 5 car slid up into the 8 car going into a turn to wreck both of them on Sunday. Busch was a DNF on the day and Larson finished P10 on the day thinking he suffered a flat tire. So, considering what happened, the two drivers had drastically different views of what happened

Earnhardt Jr. gave his neutral point of view on Dirty Mo Media.

“Larson and Kyle Busch had a little accident,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “That’s just a racing deal you know, Larson thought Kyle Busch crowded him a little bit. He said he thought it, you know, I’m sure it was my fault. I hate it for my guys. I don’t know whether he was, you know, being a little sarcastic or not. But it’s interesting because we usually don’t see cars get loose underneath each other because the side force isn’t quite as important for the inside car anymore with this new next gen.

“They can race side to side without the inside car losing a ton of grip like we used to have or like the trucks or the extended the cars can do. So I was surprised that that even happened. But I think it’s just two hard headed, tough, fast, racecar drivers had a racing accident. And is nothing more than that.”

Time to panic if you’re Kyle Busch?

With where Busch is in the standings, and having the accident with Larson, Earnhardt Jr. is ready to hit the panic button for him yet .

“No you don’t panic,” Earnhardt Jr. said of Busch. “You’ve accomplished and everything that he’s experienced in this series., he’s a champion and multi time champion and won all the races that anybody could want to win. So he’s never going to hit the panic button. Whatever happens, happens. He’ll work to try to get himself into the playoffs and if that doesn’t happen … I mean he won’t be happy about it, but I don’t think you ever gonna see Kyle Busch panic or hit the panic button. But I can see him getting frustrated.”
