After the midweek round of games, the Foxes want to maintain their lead in the Sky Bet Championship when they host the Lions at King Power Stadium at 7:45 p.m.
The absence of Vardy, McAteer, Iheanacho, and Yunus during City’s 4-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday has been confirmed by manager Enzo Maresca as they will be absent again this midweek.
In Seagrave on Tuesday afternoon, Maresca declared to the journalists, “They are going to be out, all of them.” “It’s still a minor issue for Vardy.” Just two days ago, we played. I’m hoping he can return very soon.”
Millwall comes four days after that win over Plymouth and five before Monday’s visit to Birmingham City. It’s a busy festive schedule for Leicester, and Maresca says it’s natural to rotate players to give his side the best chance of success.
