Emoni Bates has been suspended by the G League.

Emoni Bates is in his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but has spent most of the year in the G League with the Cleveland Charge (he is on a two-way contract).

On Monday, it was announced that Bates had been suspended two games (without pay) for an alleged incident after a recent G League game.

Via Marc J. Spears of ESPN’s Andscape: “Cleveland Charge forwards Emoni Bates and Gabe Osabuohien have each been suspended for two games without pay for entering the spectator stands at the conclusion of the Charge’s 126-105 road loss to the Birmingham Squadron on Jan. 20.”

He has played in ten games for the Cavs and is averaging 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 24.0% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range.
