Luton Town: The Hatters Gaffer’s Delightful Touch

Luton Town – A Lovely Touch From The Hatters - Vital Luton Town

After joining from Blackburn Rovers, Thomas Kaminski has been outstanding. He was expected to become a rare player who had participated in every minute of the season’s Premier League games.

However, with Fulham leading 4-2 and the Hatters’ destiny already determined, Edwards made the decision to give James Shea his big break.

Shea replaced Kaminski with a broad smile on his face with 14 minutes remaining in the game, including stoppage time.

To his joy, Shea preserved a clean sheet while making history as the first custodian from Luton Town to represent the Hatters in all four Football League divisions.

James has also joined Luton Town, an exclusive group of five goalkeepers who have participated in the league for seven or more seasons. The group also includes

• Tony Read; Ron Baynham; Bernard Streton; Keith Barber

distinguished firm.

James Shea’s future is currently unknown, but if that was his final game for the Hatters, what a fitting farewell.
