As expected, the Chicago Bears selected USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, giving the team its first franchise quarterback.

Although Williams has a lot to prove moving forward, as he will have some incredibly high expectations to reach during his career in the league, the former Trojans superstar seems up for the task and brimming with confidence.

It remains to be seen whether Williams will be the real deal on the NFL level, as he has obviously yet to play a down on the professional level, but all signs point to the brash quarterback being exactly what is needed in Chicago in order for the team to become a force to be reckoned with in the NFC.

Only time will tell if Williams can live up to the hype, but until then, there’s a lot of excitement in Chicago about a potential superstar quarterback entering the NFL.
