The Florida Gators welcomed a JUCO defensive lineman on an official visit this past weekend in an effort to bolster their roster with some veteran depth for this class.

Brien Taylor, a 6-5, 270-pound JUCO defensive lineman from Blinn College in Houston, Texas, was on campus and seemed to enjoy spending time with the coaches.

Taylor commented, “I like that they seem like a real family.” He was speaking about his official visit to Florida. “It’s not just about football; they’ll make sure you’re ready for manhood.” They are the best public school in the country.

Although Taylor was a bit disappointed with defensive line coach Sean Spencer’s dismissal, he claims that the Gators’ continued success was mostly due to the staff’s ability to make him feel important.

“While everyone made sure to pick up where Coach [Sean] Spencer left off, I wasn’t too happy about his leaving,” he admitted. “We’re good and only getting better from here, the staff made sure to say, so I wouldn’t say it deterred me.” They took care to let me know that I remain important.

Mike Peterson, the outside linebackers coach, has been in constant communication with Taylor, and this past weekend, they studied down film together.

Regarding Mike Peterson’s recruitment of him, Taylor remarked, “He did a real good.” “He’s a really nice guy; he wants to make sure I understand that I can work here. We’ll approach it step by step, he added. I play on every down.

Taylor was informed that he was required at Florida by a fellow defensive lineman who housed him when he was on school.

“I can come in and handle business, Blake Banks said,” Taylor remarked on his player show. “He says that in order to turn things around, it’s all up to me and how hard I work.”

Taylor’s next move will be to make a commitment. The JUCO lineman will reveal his choice between four SEC institutions in the next few days.”Tomorrow or Tuesday, I’m most definitely committing,” he declared. “I’m just going to show up on Instagram and Twitter. Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn will undoubtedly be excluded. I am aware of my destination.

Taylor claims he’s already made up his mind, and he based it on a variety of factors, such as his experiences outside of football.

Taylor stated, “The programme and the coaches were what I based it on.” “I really want to be happy where I am, outside of football, and that includes the town.”
